"Soleil Noir" Laurent Grasso exhibition is currently being held at the Forum on the 8th floor of Maison Hermes in Ginza 5-chome.

Mr. Grasso is said to have been inspired by Japanese clay figurines, Noh masks, and gold-biyobu, and the exhibition also features works featuring extraordinary events in Japan and legends from the Edo period.

Grasso said, "Paranormal phenomena, disasters, wars, and decommissioning such as volcanoes and earthquakes can be seen all over the world beyond space and time. I think the work has a strange feeling that incorporates various times. I hope you can feel a new perspective on the world and a way of observing it.”

Indeed, I looked at a work with a strange feeling that jumped over time and space.

It's a strange but beautiful piece.

The event will be held until January 31 of next year.
