"Soleil Noir" Laurent Grasso exhibition is currently being held at the Forum on the 8th floor of Maison Hermes in Ginza 5-chome.![]()
Mr. Grasso is said to have been inspired by Japanese clay figurines, Noh masks, and gold-biyobu, and the exhibition also features works featuring extraordinary events in Japan and legends from the Edo period.![]()
There are various forms of expression, such as paintings, wood carvings, objects, and images.![]()
Grasso said, "Paranormal phenomena, disasters, wars, and decommissioning such as volcanoes and earthquakes can be seen all over the world beyond space and time. I think the work has a strange feeling that incorporates various times. I hope you can feel a new perspective on the world and a way of observing it.”![]()
