At the event square on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza, the "Snowman Exhibition from Original Picture Books to Anime" is being held from December 9th (Wed) to 28th (Mon).
"Snowman" was created in 1978 by British picture book writer Raymond Briggs.
The picture book was published in more than 60 countries around the world, including Japan, and quickly became a bestseller worldwide.
The popularity of "Snowman" is not limited to picture books, but it was animated in 1982 and nominated for the Academy Awards, and has been hit in various fields.
In this exhibition, in addition to all 18 original picture books, about 70 animation cell drawings and sketches are exhibited. There is also a sales corner for goods.
It's a perfect event for Christmas.
There is a huge snowman floating in the atrium of Matsuya Ginza.
