Paula Institute of Culture was established in 1976 (Showa 51) and conducts research activities related to makeup, such as the history of makeup in the east and west, the customs of each era, and the view of beauty, with the keyword "cosmetic, women, and aesthetics." It seems that the results are transmitted in the form of publications, research reports, exhibitions, etc.
