The gallery started in 1985 (Showa 60) as a gallery specializing in graphic design, and has introduced many creators and works, mainly in Japanese graphic design.

graff05.JPG

At the exhibition hall, we look back on exhibitions held between 1985 and 2015 through posters, book designs, packages, and products.

Old posters, fresh packages to see for the first time, really a lot of exhibits.

Picasso Exhibition [Nihonbashi Takashimaya]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 20, 2016 09:00

The "Routevig Collection Picasso Exhibition" is being held in the 8th floor hall of Nihonbashi Takashimaya.

picass04.JPG

The period is from Wednesday, February 17 to 28 (Sun).

picass01.JPG

Pablo Picasso is one of the largest artists of the 20th century.

Picasso has left a huge number of works with fearful willingness to create, but it is also famous for changing his expression many times in his lifetime.

I personally like the works of the "blue era" and the "rose era".

picass02.JPG

In this exhibition, after the Picasso Museum in Paris and Barcelona, about 60 oil paintings, prints, pottery, etc. from the Louvig Museum in Cologne, Germany, which holds the world's largest Picasso collection, will be exhibited, and about 40 portraits of Picasso by prominent photographers such as Man Ray are exhibited, and the appeal of Picasso is introduced from multiple perspectives.

This picture of Picasso portrait is also very wonderful, so please take a look.

Marumiya Museum

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 19, 2016 14:00

marum02.JPG

Speaking of "spring", "Noritama" and "Noritama" are Marumiya, at least in my head, the image is completely imprinted.

marum03.JPG

There is a museum in Ginza where you can see the history of Marumiya, nostalgic packages, products that have been released so far, and extras attached to it.

marum05.JPG

The map below is the first floor of the Marumiya Building facing Showa-dori.

marumiy00.jpg

It's a museum on one floor, but you can meet old products.

marum04.JPG

It's an interesting place to enjoy for free.

This museum is located on the first floor of the Marumiya Building in Ginza 1-19-13.

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 18, 2016 16:00

kujir01.JPG

In the Yaesu Underground Shopping Center, there is the "Whaleken Yaesu Store" with its head office in Yokohama.

kujir02.JPG

It is the location of the arrow on the Yaesu Underground Shopping Center floor map below.

kujir06.jpg

I ordered Chinese soba (dark soy sauce flavor)

kujir00.JPG

It's thin noodles and the soup is clear.

Old taste

I recommend it.

kujir03.JPG

I am grateful that the time from ordering to being offered is short.

Champagne bar in Ginza ★Vionis

[Mapo ★] February 18, 2016 14:00

This is the shop I went to at Restaurant Week last fall.

There are many wine bars, but champagne bars are rare.
I went on the wedding anniversary day.

First of all, there is a champagne on Diners' welcome drink.
And after that, I would like to drink a lot, so I decided to order it with a glass.
There are 4 kinds of wines on this day.

2007, which will be released in December, ahead of the latest work "Spector" in the "007" series
There was also a vintage Champagne that was released!
It costs 4500 yen for a glass, but it's hard to drink and it's an anniversary (* ^^ *)

vion8.JPG vion5.JPG

The food is a bit lacking in volume.
Well, I guess it's not a place to eat it hard (laughs).

But the appetizers and main dishes are all delicious with champagne!
By the way, as a privilege of booking, such printed paper is wrapped around the napkin.
The date is also included, so it was a memorial.

vion7.JPG vion6.JPG

The main is saute of the quail burner butter♪

The dessert is champagne sorbet.
And I had it with a 40-degree Mar!

vion4.JPG vion1.JPG

And a lot of prestige champagne in front of you.
There is also an autographed bottle (owner's personal belonging) of Jackcelos.
I talked a lot about champagne with Mr. Somme Lière
It was a very fun time to show me various bottles (*^^ *)

"Extra skill!" Exhibition [Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 18, 2016 09:00

At the gallery on the 7th floor of the new building of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, the period from February 17th (Wed) to 29th (Mon).

"Kichichoan Museum of Art Collection Shinkatsu Kayama Exhibition" is being held.

chozetu12.JPG

At first, I thought I had put a real crab shell on the pottery.

But...

chozetu11.jpg

Terrifying technique

The crabs were also carved! And there were two, not one.

It is a kuzu kiln glaze crab sculpture pot flower activity (Makuzu Yohenyukanichokotsubonoke).

It seems that it was a masterpiece produced in the later years by the first Zikaka Kayama, one of the three major master craftsmen in the Meiji era.

It is a very rare work that imitates his own masterpiece (collected by the Tokyo National Museum and an important cultural property) produced during the Meiji period, and seems to be one of the works that represent the history of ceramics before the war.

makuzu01.jpg

The work of Mkatsu Kayama in Yokohama, which surprises the world during the Meiji and Taisho eras and is counted as one of the three major master craftsmen in the Meiji era, was highly regarded as "Makuzware" at World Expositions.

However, it seems that the life vein was cut off by the air raid that hit Yokohama in 1945, and about 100 items, including this rare Mkatsu Kayama's masterpiece, "Kuzu Kiln Glazed Crab Sculpture Tsubo Hanakatsu," are on display.

Not only crabs, but also pheasants, peacocks, phoenixes, small animals and flowers are all amazing.

chozetu14.JPG

It's exactly the on-parade of "Sh, Sh, Sh, Great"

By all means, please take a look and share this surprise.
