"Koloman Mozar Graphic Exhibition" is being held at Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE (Muse) facing Ginza 1-chome and Showa-dori.
Koloman Mozar (1868-1918) has been widely recognized in Europe and has a special exhibition, but this is the first time it has been held in Japan.
Certainly, the artists who were active in Vienna at the end of the century were Klimt and Egon Siele, and I knew, but Koloman Mozar didn't know.
This exhibition features 12 posters that have been reproduced in Europe even today, focusing on graphics left by general artists who have left works in a wide range of fields such as furniture, crafts, and spatial design.
In each work, the bold color use and rhythmic composition are very fresh.
Hiromi Kawasaki, the director of the gallery, said that he is studying Vienna at the end of the century, especially this artist, and gave a detailed explanation.

According to Kawasaki's president, it was said that it was a 84-year-old building, and it was originally an office building for a company dealing with kerosene. The windows widely taken from the floor on the first floor are novel.
The times are felt by the decorated bricks on the outer wall, and the appearance is very interesting.

The exhibition period has been extended due to its popularity, and will be held until March 13 (Sun).
