I purchased "Acorn Badge" at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.

As Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd. celebrates its fifth year since Great East Japan Earthquake, since March 1 (Tuesday), a total of 28 Mitsukoshi Isetan Group Department Stores nationwide have been conducting a charity campaign to support reconstruction in East Japan.

This "acorn badge" is made by the people of Minamisanriku-cho using cedar trees in Minamisanriku-cho.

The design of the badge differs for each store, and what I bought was the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store version.

On my head is Nihonbashi with giboshi.

The entire amount of the proceeds will be donated to the Forest Great Wall Project (http://greatforestwall.com/), which will be used to create a forest that protects lives from disasters.

It is said that each store will end as soon as the "acorn badge" runs out.

Some shops already sold out (the photo above, where the red sticker was affixed)

The selling price is 300 yen (including tax and donation of 143 yen).
