"Mt. Yoshino Kimpusen-ji Temple Secret Exhibition of mountain ascetic hermit" (Nara Mahoroba Hall)

At the Nara Mahoroba Hall, located in 1-chome Nihonbashi Muromachi, an exhibition event titled "~ Sakura Flowering Near Japan's largest secret Buddha main deity Special Opening Commemorative: The Secret Exhibition at mountain ascetic hermit, Mt. Yoshino, Kimpusen-ji Temple."

The period is from Thursday, March 10 to March 23 (Wed).

In the exhibition space, tools and costumes used by mountain ascetic hermit in training were displayed and explained in an easy-to-understand manner.

The cherry blossoms at Mt. Yoshino are the sacred tree of main deity Kongo Zao Gongen in mountaineering asceticism, and it seems to be a proof of faith that many people have cherished with prayer since ancient times.

At Mt. Yoshino, yamazakura, which is said to be 30,000, blooms all over the mountain for about a month.

From April 1 to May 8, at the Zao-do Temple of Kimpusen-ji Temple (National Treasure), the largest secret Buddha in Japan, main deity Kongo Zao Daigongen (Shibubun) will be opened specially to promote the repair of the national treasure Nio-mon gate.
