At the Megumi Ogita Gallery, located on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building, Ginza 2-chome, Japan's first solo exhibition by French artist TILT is currently being held.
TILT is from Toulose, South France, and is now the most global street artist.
The title of the exhibition is "Concrete Abstract".
It is said that the beginning of the graffiti culture was triggered by the spread of the use of sprays and felt pens in New York in the 1970s (graffiti) to write their names on walls and trains, and this solo exhibition is a valuable opportunity to appreciate the world's highest level of graffiti.
On our gallery's website, it is written that "graffiti, which has developed by purely competing for modeling styles without meaning, is the ultimate abstract expression," and if you look at TILT's work, you can understand it.
