Itoya in Ginza 2-chome is a long-established stationery specialty store founded in 1904 (Meiji 37), but now on the G.Itoya, the first basement floor, "Invited by Okada Oya Nishiki-e Exhibition Festival Music" is being held.
The period is from Friday, June 3 to 12 (Sun).
Okada Chikashi is a person who is active as an Edomachi fire extinguisher Nishiki-e teacher.
Okada's Nishiki-e is painted with acrylic paint on Japanese paper, and is detailed in detail, ranging from props such as coats, half coats, and belongings.
This time, about 60 new works with the theme of "festivals" are on display and sold.
The timing of this exhibition in line with the Sanno Festival is wonderful, and it is an exhibition where you can feel the spirit of Edokko and really hear the festival music.
At the venue, art goods such as original works, print works, postcards, and fans are also sold.
Photography at the venue is OK.
