I don't do housework at all, but I love only brushing my shoes (although only my own shoes) and do it on holidays.
At the gallery on the 8th floor of the Yaesu Book Center Main Store at the Yaesu South Exit of JR Tokyo Station, at 19:00 on July 6 (Wednesday) by the author Yuya Hasegawa, who commemorated the publication of the "Shoe Prushing Book" (Aki Shobo) A lecture was held, and I was excited to participate.
The subtitle of the lecture was "Revolution to the feet of Japan-the method of shoe polishing taught by shoe polishers."
Yuya Hasegawa is currently the representative of Brift H, a shoe polish specialty store located along the antique street in Minamiaoyama, but at the age of 20, he began to brush his shoes on the streets of Marunouchi for more than 10 years. He is a legendary shoe polisher who has been pushing the shoe polishing path under the motto "Revolution on the feet of Japan" for more than 10 years.
In the lecture, Mr. Hasegawa's shoe polishing knowledge necessary to wear one of his favorite pairs for a long time and Mr. Hasegawa's shoe polishing half-life was passionately talked about.
A demonstration of shoe polishing by Mr. Hasegawa was also held
Mr. Hasegawa polished the leather shoes of the applicant from among the participants of the lecture, and the excitement of the finish was raised from the venue.
This is exactly what it is.
In the demonstration, the shoe polishing process is divided into three parts: "clearing shoes", "nourishing shoes", and "lighting shoes", and the necessary work for each can be advanced with stunning hand handling I was impressed.
The explanation of the book is easy to understand, and I thought I would try to brush my shoes seriously.
After the lecture, an autograph session was held, and I had them sign the book.
