From Wednesday, August 3 to August 22 (Monday), the "Sean of the Sean Exhibition" is being held at Event Square on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza.
"Sean of the Sheep" is a clay animation created by Ardman Animation, a clay animation studio in the United Kingdom.
Cray Animation is a stop motion animation that uses clay (clay) as a subject. It is a shooting technique that moves a static subject little by little in each frame and shoots it with a camera, as if it is moving continuously.
I think it's a task that requires a lot of concentration and effort, but the completed video has a warmth that can't be produced with CG.
"Sean of the Sheep" is also being broadcast on NHK E-Tele in Japan.
At the venue, huge sets, puppets, images and color sketches were exhibited.
The sets and puppets were made in detail, and I felt the creator's commitment.
I went there on the 4th, but the venue was crowded with a wide range of age groups.
There is no doubt that it will be an exhibition that can be enjoyed by families during the summer vacation.
