Portrait Exhibition [Noevia Ginza Gallery]

At the Noevia Ginza Gallery on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza headquarters building facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St., a portrait exhibition "Fancy of the Age" by three famous photographers is currently being held.

The three are Takeyoshi Tanuma, Keisuke Kumagiri and Koichi Saito.

Mr. Tanuma studied under Ihei Kimura and has been shooting cultural figures for more than 60 years.

Mr. Kumagiri seems to have been in charge of graviar pages, mainly weekly magazines for 40 years.

Mr. Saito served as an assistant to Shotaro Akiyama and photographed more than 2,000 people.

This exhibition features portraits of novelists, artists, and film directors captured by three unique photographers.

Naoya Shiga, Yasunari Kawabata, Yukio Mishima, Hisashi Inoue, Chiyo Uno, Shotaro Ikenami, Harumi Setochi, Shiko Munakata, Masuo Ikeda, Matazo Kayama, Tamako Kataoka, Yasujiro Ozu, Fujio Fujiko, Rokusuke, etc.

In fact, when I saw the work directly in the gallery, it seemed that the atmosphere around the subject was captured, and I felt the photographer's spirit. I think this is something that you can't feel unless you see the work up close.

Also, beside each work, the memories of the novelists when the photographer took the photo were commented, and it was very interesting to know the unexpected side of those who are called literary writers. It was.

The event will be held from Monday, September 5 to November 4 (Fri), and the event will be held from 10 am to 6 pm Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are until 5:00 p.m.
