"NIHONBASHI-Wish Forest" opens at "Fukutoku no Mori", which opened on November 25 and September 28.
Exhibition Period: From November 25 to January 9, 2017 17:00 to 23:00
"A shooting star" is a phenomenon in which cosmic dust with a diameter of several mm to several cm drifting through the solar system enters the Earth's atmosphere at a speed of 10 km per second, emits light. Although it is difficult to see in the urban sky, it seems that it is detected every 10 to 15 minutes over Japan. An illumination art project that uses a real-time meteor observation system developed by Vascule to detect a shooting star, and changes the production of light in the forest in real time.
The world's first illumination production with natural phenomena and technology.
In addition, in line with the legend that "If you cast a wish on a flowing star three times, your wish will come true", a "wish display" will be installed at the venue, and a production will project the wishes posted from a special site three times when a shooting star appears. It seems that there is a chance that "shards of stars (coupons available at surrounding facilities)" will be delivered to smartphones that have posted the wish.
During the period, we hear that special events are scheduled to coincide with the timing of the astronomical phenomena of the Gemini meteor shower (December) and the Quadrans Muralis meteor shower (January).
