Kamejima River Green Road

[Sam] December 26, 2016 12:00

DSC_0289'LS.jpg From Minato 1-chome to Hatchobori 4-chome on the right bank of the Kamejima River, the "Kamejima River Green Road" is well-maintained and barrier-free approach to the waterside.

You can get down near the waterside by stairs and slopes from the side of the gunpowder street, benches are installed, and vegetation is planted.

In particular, the vegetation is the scenery of the Kamejima River during the Edo and Meiji periods.DSC03441RSG.jpg

I hear that the image incorporates a lot of native species and is designed to feel the season throughout the year.

In addition, warm LED lighting is used at night, and from the deck, you can enjoy the night view of the Tangible Cultural Property residents and Minami Takahashi, which was selected as a "Selected Civil Engineering Heritage" by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers, and the Okawabata River City 21 high-rise apartments.

Remaining autumn leaves of the family Rosaceae planted.

It is illuminated brightly at night.

Valuable waterside space resources in the city.

Following the boat mooring yard on the opposite bank, which was developed a little earlier, this is an example of revetment utilization as a new recreation area.
