After finishing the Ginza Gourmet Tour (5-chome to 8-chome)

[Chuo Kotaro] 14:00 on December 29, 2016

Hello, my name is Taro Chuo.

I also belong to a gourmet group of an organization called TCGC (Tokyo City Guide Club).

There, there is a workshop about once a month, and members take a walk around various parts of Tokyo with the keyword "gourmet".
In December, I was in charge, and I took you to Ginza on Saturday, the 10th, so I would like to report on that.

I chose the course and the shops to introduce with the following in mind.

・Even if it is Ginza, it is wide from 1-chome to 8-chome, at a fixed time of 2-2.5 hours

Because it is not possible to go around everything, the range is 5-chome to 8-chome.
・The theme is "Let's hold down this when it comes to Ginza" as a store that seems to be a classic

Choose shops that you think are attracting attention recently with a balance between subjectivity and objectivity.
・As it is a workshop, we will increase the amount of information.

Even if you chose according to the above policy, it exceeded 130 stores and it seemed that the time was severe, so 6-chome and 7-chome were removed from the walking course except for some parts, and finally narrowed to about 70 stores Was.

The number of participants expanded to about 27 unexpectedly, so in a hurry, we had two correspondent friends help, and moved around the city of Ginza in a large area of about 30 people.
I made the materials alone, so I did not divide them for explanation reasons.
In addition, since there is no earphone microphone used for exciting tours of the tourist association, etc., and there are limited places where you can stop and explain to many people, stop at some points and digest up to the next stop point I decided to comment while walking.
As for the comments while walking, I asked the two people who helped me in the front and the middle and back to comment from their own perspective. In this way, we made it possible for the participants to get explanations.

Although it was a training, I guided this number of people without dividing, so when I finished safely without an accident, my soul exhausted, and on the next day, I did almost nothing and I was nervous all day. Was. I am very grateful to the two of you who asked for help in a hurry.

Then, on the morning of the day, I happened to check the correspondent's blog, and found out that "Bar Bordeaux", which continued on December 22 from 1927, and Isoroku Yamamoto also passed, will close.
It is very unfortunate that the store closes itself, but since Bordeaux was in the introduction store this time, I told the participants as a timely topic.
Also, mapu ★Many correspondents, led by Mr., have written a blog about Ginza gourmet, so I also referred to them very much. (Thank you very much)

Then, the guidance from the viewpoint of "gourmet" was realized this time when it really took money and time. Anyway, if you don't go or buy it yourself to some extent, you won't be able to talk with a "live voice" and explain it will not be interesting.
I also struggled in that I couldn't talk about the goodness of the restaurant that I would introduce if I didn't know to some extent about cooking, alcohol, ingredients, etc. Especially for French, Italian, Spanish, wine, cheese, etc., I had a hard time learning terms and types because I had not had much connection before. (Through this preparation, I managed to understand the classification. 。 。)
After all, it was up to the day while thinking that women who were often exposed to cooking and who were interested were better at gourmet food.

By the way, for reference, a map of the walking course is shown below.
※On the day, we introduced a shop on the course. I'm sorry, but let me skip which store.

Shimbashi Enbujo will be set up and started, and in the first half, we will walk to Corridor Street around 8-chome.
The area around the performance hall is the home of Hanayanagikai, where ryotei in Shimbashi Hanayanagikai gathers.

In Ginza 8-chome, the area between Sotobori-dori St. and Chuo-dori is the place where Kinshun Yashiki was located, and is headwater in the Hanayanagi world.
There is an office and a training hall in Hanayanagikai on Miban Street, which can be said to be the so-called "miban".
Also, this area is now a luxury club district, and even if there is no direct relationship, it can be said that the historical trend has made this place a luxury club district.
Therefore, in the first half, while feeling the history of Hanayanagi world, we will hold down the classic gourmet of Ginza.

In the second half, walk north (in the direction of Yurakucho) in the area around Corridor Street, go east again (in the direction of Tsukiji), and proceed slightly past Mihara Koji as a goal.
In the second half, there are many shops that cannot be removed by mixing old and new, such as seasonal places such as Tokyu Plaza and Ginza Place, shops where people gather at the 4-chome intersection, and other hot shops.

The walking course diagram shows an overview of the information area divided into seven parts, so please refer to it if you like.
In addition, points such as "buy", "co", "explanation" are described in the course map, but "buy" is a place where you can buy souvenirs on the course, and "co" is a slightly unusual standing coffee shop (TORIBA Coffee) is a stop-by point.
I omit the explanation of other marks.

And when it comes to Ginza, you can't miss the fact that most of the streets are named, there are many back alleys, and shrines scattered around. A map that adds a little additional information to them is also listed below (5-8th Street).
I would be grateful if you could refer to it as a pleasure to walk, such as thinking about the origin of the street name, exploring the back alleys, and visiting shrines.
