[Dimini ☆ Cricket] December 3, 2016 09:00

At the event square on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza, Ginza 3-chome, "Mumin Picture Book World Exhibition From Tove Jansson's Original to New Picture Books Created" is being held.

I visited on Wednesday, the first day, but visitors with families were conspicuous.

Mumin, I'm loved

On the other hand, I heard a child's voice saying, "This is a hippopopopo," and I was hesitant to immediately say "It's a fairy," and I thought I should understand it soon.

"Mumin" is a character that appeared as "Moomintroll" in a fairy tale written by Tobe Jansson, and then spread throughout the world through comics, picture books, animations, etc.

In this exhibition, in addition to introducing Tobe Jansson's picture books on panels and videos, about 80 original drawings of Lena & Sammi Carla, a certified writer who draws a new Mumin picture book, were unveiled for the first time in Japan.
