[Content] Masako Shirasu (1910-1998) inherited from her mother, kimonos when standing on the Noh stage, and kimonos for each season that make you feel the way of life at the Shirasu House Takeso (1943-Shirasu and his wife's lifetime residence), 150 items such as kimono and kimono accessories for each season, and items used in daily life, were exhibited to introduce the charm of "Kimono" that Masako loved.
At the age of 46, Masako started a kimono and dyeing craft shop "Kogei" at the former Ginza Nishi 8-chome (1956-1970). We deepen exchanges with the creators of weaving and dyeing, and spread kimonos that we feel beautiful to the world. From "Kogei", excellent craft artists such as Takao Tajima and Manchiko Furusawa grow up. The shop and address are written on the tato paper of the kimono at that time (from Takesososo chronology).
