The Shinkawa area is surrounded by the Sumida River, Nihonbashi River and Kamejima River.

The Kamejima River is covered by five bridges ((A) to (E)).

First, the first on the Kamejima River, which branches off from the Nihonbashi River, is Reigishi Bridge (A).

This bridge is located on Eitai-dori St.

At the junction of the Nihonbashi River and the Kamejima River, there is the Nihonbashi Suimon, which can be seen up close from the Reigishi Bridge.

Next, Shin-Kameshima Bridge (B) stretches over the Kamejima River.

This is Kameshima Bridge (C).

The Kamejima River turns almost right at right angles to the Sumida River.

At the foot of the Hatchobori side of this bridge, there is a monument to Takeyuki Horibe, famous for the swords of Takadanobaba and the defeat of Kira's house by Nanji Akaho.

"Ginza's Yanagi Shisei" is also planted across the road on the same side.

Takahashi (D)

It is a bridge on Kajibashi Street that enters Shinkawa from Hatchobori.

This is the view of Minami Takahashi seen from Takahashi.

Beyond Minami Takahashi, you can see the tower apartments in Tsukuda.

My name is Minami Takahashi (E).

Part of the former Ryogoku Bridge is reused in the main body of the characteristic bridge.

Tokufune Inari Shrine is enshrined at the foot of the new river side of this bridge, and there is an explanation board of the auspiciousness.

The Kamejima River joins the Sumida River after passing through this bridge.
