A pensioner who is in Mainichi is a holiday and is inclined as the cold blows.

After participating in the Nara Mahoroba-kan, Shimane-kan, Mie Terrace in Nihonbashi, and the antenna shop stamp rally, we will go to Garapon raffle at Mitsui Tower.

There was no reason for hitting it with Garapon, and I didn't send it this time because it was the market to get tissues.

Tokyo Marathon 2017 Cannon

[Sam] February 27, 2017 12:00

DSC03771RS'G.jpg At 9:10 on the 26th (9:05 for wheelchairs), under the fine weather, the Tokyo Marathon 2017 started in front of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building with a gun signal.

From this time, it was changed to a flat course that runs more in the city center from two viewpoints, "to further promote the splendor of Tokyo both inside and outside" and "to make a high-speed course that can aim for records", and after the start, Yasukuni Dori-Sotobori-dori St. ~ Mejiro-dori St. ~ Yasukuni Dori, run right at the Chuo Sudacho Tokyo intersection.

About 30 minutes after the start, the top group approaches "Oedo Nihonbashi" almost as expected passage time, and is wrapped in loud cheers.

This is the first scene to see under the nameplate of "Nihonbashi" on the highway.

I heard that more than 10,000 volunteers will support the operation of the tournament, but in front of Nihonbashi Colled, one of the venues for the runner support event, a gunshot music will be played, and participants from athlete runners to fan runners will be cheered and excited.

(9:40~11:00)

The runners will then head to the Ryogoku / Fukagawa area of the Shitamachi area, which has also become a new course.

A base for local travel in the city center. An interesting hostel in Bakurocho, a wholesale district!

[Shiba Inu] February 27, 2017 09:00

Recently, there has been a series of fashionable hostels that can be easily used in the "super city center" area around Tokyo Station. The feature of these hostels is that they are made with a focus on mobility for those who want to experience the city from morning to night, or from night to morning. What I want is not a luxury, but a cozyness and freshness of information! It's very popular with tourists.

The pioneer of this trend was in the wholesale district, Bakurocho! "IRORI" opened at the end of 2015.

DSC_8512.jpg

It is a large guest house built by renovating a 40-year-old building and can accommodate about 70 people. It starts at 2800 yen per night! The management body is R.Project Co., Ltd., which has launched a number of projects to rediscover the charms of various parts of Japan. Mr. Dai Tamesue, a medalist, is also a member of the board.

IMG_8201.jpg
There is a reception and a cafe on the first floor. There is a real Irori in the entrance space! They are going to bake fish here in the morning and evening. Furniture and interiors have local products from various places, and have plenty of seasonal feeling.

IMG_8202.jpg
This cafe and lounge is also available to ordinary guests who are not staying. Every day, popular shops from all over the country go on business trips to provide delicious food and drink. The price is also affordable! The coffee is carefully brewed over time every cup, and it is very delicious.

DSC_8519.jpg
And the very recommended reason for general use of IRORI's cafe is that there are a lot of free papers and tourist maps!

There are many information magazines, although useful contents are covered not only for tourists but also for neighbors. You can enjoy it just by reading them while drinking coffee at the end of Irori. There are people who send this much maniac information and live information of Chuo-ku....I'm also surprised at that.

IMG_8204.jpgBoth tourists and locals.

It is also a place where you can feel the local culture other than Tokyo.

Please go to "IRORI", where many "people who want to taste Tokyo" come and go regardless of age, gender, regardless of nationality, come and go. Please visit this website for information on the day's cafe menu and accommodation information!

"Forests Following You" Exhibition [POLA MUSEUM ANNEX]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] February 26, 2017 18:00

At the Paula Museum Annex, an art museum located on the third floor of the Paula Ginza Building facing Chuo-dori, Ginza 1-chome, the Mika Aoki exhibition "Forests Following You" was being held.

pola0500.JPG

The event was held from Friday, January 20 to February 26 (Sun).

pola0600.JPG

In this exhibition, using the life cycle of plants as a motif, the invisible "connection" of life was dynamically shown by combining glass objects and light.

pola0700.JPG

The glass work made by the technique of burner work looked like pollen of plants, seeds and cells, and was full of life.

pola0100.jpg

I felt mystical beauty and dynamism

pola0200.jpg

At the venue where the lights were turned off, a fantastic world was spreading with effective light.

From the Sumida River Terrace in Kachidoki, you can clearly see the shine through Tsukiji Market.
