[Sam] 12:00 on February 2, 2017

DSC_0929 (2)RRLS.jpg Even before spring, the weather is still cold.

At this time, the number of flowers in Hamarikyu Onshi Garden is still limited, but one of the flowers that bloom dignifiedly under the clear and soft sunlight is narcissus (Japanese narcissus).

The narcissus is a perennial plant of the family Araceae.

Usually, simply saying narcissus, "Japanese narcissus"

Japanese zuisen is fusaki susen (Fusasaki water)

It is said that it was a variant of Sen), and came from the Mediterranean Sea region of origin through Silk Road and China, and became wild.

The leaves that grow from the base are flat linear.

The outer flower cover is white, and the cylindrical part called the side corolla in the middle is a yellow cup shape, and blooms in small flowers.

It is characterized by a refreshing floral green scent in a clear and neat sweetness, and fragrance components such as Shinna Mick aldehyde, benzyl alcohol, benzaldehyde, and oygenol have been reported.

Quiet and gentle scent that wraps up the cold of winter.
