Hakumokuren in Akatsuki Park

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] March 8, 2017 18:00

The white magnolia of "Akatsuki Park" (map below, red) at Tsukiji 7-chome is blooming.

Hakumokuren is one of the deciduous Takagi where pure white flowers make you feel the coming of spring, and it is very impressive to see the flowers blooming up greatly prior to the leaves.

Similarly, the difference from "fist", which makes you feel spring with white flowers, is that the flower of Hakumokuren is closed diagonally upward or upward, while "fist" has a shape that opens in various directions while the direction of the flower is open in various directions. While the white magnolia does not attach leaves during flowering, the fist is only one leaf under the flower during flowering.

Hakumokuren flowers are large and worth seeing, but the flowering period is short, so if you have a blooming Hakumokuren, please stop and feel the arrival of spring.

At present, Akatsuki Park seems to be undergoing some renovation work, and when I visited, new playground equipment was brought in and waiting for installation. .
