Hana peach is also in full bloom [Tsukiji River Ruins]

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] April 8, 2017 12:00

Hana Momo is in full bloom in the planting area on the south side of Tsukiji 2-chome, between Tsukijibashi and Irifunebashi, which was originally the Tsukiji River.

It's pink on the map below.

The colors of red, white and pink flowers are vivid.

Hana peach is said to be a peach that has been improved to appreciate the flowers, and blooms before and after the cherry blossoms bloom.

The peach festival on March 3 has been celebrated since the Heian period.

It is said that the peaches were improved as ornamental Hana peaches only in the Edo period.

It seems that the tree shape has standing, weeping, and broom standing, and I think that Hana Momo here at Tsukiji 2-chome is broom standing.

The pale pink of the cherry blossoms is also beautiful, but the clear pink and red of Hana Momo are spring colors.
