R0038121'RSG.jpg April 8 is the birthday of Buddha. It is also known as 'Nativity Party' or 'kanbutsu-e.'

Buddha was born in the flower garden of Rumbini, a white elephant appeared in the dream of his mother, Mrs. Maya. It is said that at this time, a dragon appeared from heaven, rained on the candow, and blessed the birth of Buddha.

In comparison to this event, a Hanamido that imitates the flower garden of Rumbini is set up, a birth Buddha is enshrined inside, and sweet tea is used from the Buddha head to celebrate the birth of the Buddha.

On April 9, Tsukiji Honganji held the Hana Festival, an event to celebrate the birth of Buddha.

This day is a terrible rain.

Prior to the Kanbutsu-kai (Buddhist memorial service) at 11:30, a parade of cute children, the Hana Festival, was held in main hall.
