Mitsuru Takeya's new solo exhibition "Ave Maria" is being held in the project room in the Megumi Ogita Gallery on the first basement floor of the Ginza Otsuka Building, Ginza 2-chome.
One day in his early twenties, Mr. Taketani suddenly started drawing, and after that he continued to paint many works, leaving himself to the urge of "I can't help but draw".
In this exhibition, works depicting people holding children are mainly exhibited.
"The figure of a person holding a child" should be a daily and extremely smiley thing in society, but Mr. Taketani's work has a black background, a person holding a child, a neck, etc. It has become a unique and mysterious work.
In addition, works inspired by "The Fall of Nursery School in Japan" are also on display, and they are drawn into Taketani's own perspective or the world view.
The event period is from Tuesday, May 9 to 27 (Saturday).
Opening hours are from 11:00 to 19:00 and are closed on Monday, Sunday and public holidays.
This time, we received your consent for the photography in the gallery, and also gave a polite and polite explanation of the exhibited works. Thank you very much
