Coworking space "31VENTURES Clip Japanese Bashi"

[Mido] June 15, 2017 18:00

"31VENTURES Clip Japanese Bashi" has been newly opened on April 17 this year at Nihonbashi Honmachi 3-chome. This facility is a business space that can be used by entrepreneurs, new business managers of large companies, creators, etc. as a "co-working space" focused on co-creation and business creation through encounters between large companies and venture companies.

It is located on Edo-dori St., which leads to Nakadori, a bustling base in the Nihonbashi area, and is characterized by its good access. The business support program seems to be substantial, and it is said that it will promote open innovation created by encountering people. The seminar space has a capacity of 100 people and a space of 90 workspace seats is one of the selling points that can be used comfortably. There is also a cafe "EJ JUICE & COFFEE Nihonbashi Store", and it seems that you can chat while drinking a drink.

In addition, it seems that we can support the growth of venture companies by investing through funds, even in the financial aspects that are essential for the growth of venture companies. The usage fee for the facility is from 6,000 yen per month. For more information, please visit the website.

Indian spot-billed duck parent and child came! Ishikawajima Park

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] June 15, 2017 14:00

On the morning of the 12th, Indian spot-billed duck parent and child came to the Sumida River Terrace in Ishikawajima Park!

I don't know if chicks were born in Indian spot-billed duck by nesting the so-called "Ukishima" near Aioi Bridge, but it is certain that this is the first day of the walk. I've been looking forward to this day since I witnessed the chick three years ago.

Really, really, today! !

I have 8 birds. Eating algae, bring it, and everyone is fine.

He was a parent and child who spent about an hour relaxing, but suddenly his mother urges the chicks to come up.

It was near low tide, and the water gradually decreased. As you walk, you are more likely to be attacked by crows. The chicks are panicked by their mother's encouraging voice.

④Come on. jpg

We finally found a stone that could climb, and all arrived at river’s edge safely. What do you do when you were relieved? Are you going to cross here?

⑤To the river? .jpg

Mom jumps! The chicks are crying!

⑥What do you do? .jpg⑦Wait! .jpg

The decided chick jumps to the open sea with one bird again! ! !

⑧Let's go! .jpgThree more birds. jpg

All eight birds went gently across the Sumida River.

On the 13th, the great adventure of the chicks will continue.

Classical Performing Arts Appreciation (Nihonbashi Theater)

[Dimini ☆ Cricket] June 15, 2017 12:00

On the afternoon of June 10 (Saturday), we watched the "19th Classical Performing Arts Appreciation Party" organized and produced by the Chuo-ku Cultural and International Exchange Promotion Association sponsored by the Chuo-ku Classical Performing Arts Association.

koteng01.JPG

The venue was the Nihonbashi Theater at Nihonbashi Kakigaracho 1-chome (Nihonbashi Public Hall Hall in Nihonbashi Kumin Center).

koteng003.JPG

Applicants apply in advance by postcard, and the target audience was those who live or work in Chuo-ku and those who wish to appreciate it.

The contents are:

(1) The lecture was given by Shigero Ito, entitled "Chuo-ku and Chushingura-Oishi built-in assistant in Nihonbashi and Nanji Akaho buried in Honganji-".

Mr. Ito was a 20-minute lecture by Edo late Tokugawa shogunate researcher living in Shintomi-cho, but there were plenty of unknown and unexpected stories.

(2) The performance of Nagauta "Chitose of the Island", a small drum of Kisaku Katada, an honorary resident of Chuo-ku and a living national treasure (), and a shamisen of Norimitsu Kiya, also an honorary resident of Chuo-ku and a living national treasure (). People were

(3) In Nagauta "Urashima", Kikutou Tatekata Onoue performed, and the performance was now performed by Jiro Fujimi.

(4) Rakugo was "puzzling sparrow" by Mr. Kanaharatei Mao.

There was a lot of voice saying "Kibikicho" to the appearance of a master of Masei from Ginza.

(5) In Nagauta "Uguisukujuku Ume", the dances were Tsuru Hanayanagi, Toshihiko Hanayanagi, Kura Sumi Hanayagi, and the performances were from Jiro Fujimi Shrine.

This was a fun work like a fairy tale-like fairy tale with Kyogen.

koteng001.JPG

The music was performed by people from Shinjuro Katada, and the moderator was Riseki Tobaya.

With the careful introduction before the performance started, I was able to enjoy all the performances.

koteng002.JPG

The capacity was 382 people, but in fact the venue was full.

I thought that it would be unique to Chuo-ku, which has been the center of culture and art since the Edo period, that such appreciation events were held continuously and counted 19 times.

Streetlights in Chuo-ku (1) Streetlights

[May rain George] June 15, 2017 09:00

Chuo-ku is home to many famous places, historic sites and famous shops. The streetlights that change the face with the times brightly illuminate each place and the night on the road connecting each other. In addition to the main street, you can also see original streetlights on shopping streets and historic streets.

This time, some of the streetlights illuminate the current streets of Chuo-ku are introduced with photos.

Chuo-dori Sotobori-dori St. jpg

Compared to the geometric urban design streetlights on Chuo-dori, Sotobori-dori St., which intersects on it, has analog lights as motifs.

Showa-dori, Heisei-dori. jpg

Both Heisei and Showa are streetlights with a simple design.

Harumi-dori St. jpg

Harumi-dori St. can be broadly divided into two types of streetlights on the Ginza side and Tsukiji side.

Yaesu-dori performance hall street. jpg

There are streetlights on Yaesu Street from Tokyo Station to Aioi Bridge, and streetlights around Shimbashi Enbujo.

Ginza Corridor Street Miyuki Street. jpg

On the streetlights of Miyuki Street, there is a golden statue where a phoenix is about to fly off. This is related to the name "Miyuki Street". There are various theories about the name Miyuki-dori, but the following theories seem to be correct given that this road was made in the Meiji era. It is said that when Emperor Meiji went to Naval Academy or used Hamarikyu, this road was designated as a march road, so it came to be called "Miyuki-dori". It is said that gold phoenix was decorated only on the streetlights in order to show His Majesty's formal style.

Ginza Suzuran Gaslight. jpg

Oh, the streetlights on Ginza Suzuran Street weren't square in the past? Suzuran Street extends southwest across Harumi-dori St., and Gaslight Street extends northeast. I like the streetlights on the gaslight street.

Ginza Sony Street Namiki-dori St. jpg

Both Sony Street and Namiki-dori St. use retro-design streetlights. That's good.

Ningyocho Dori A_B.jpg

Ningyocho Street has B standing every few based on A.

Ningyocho-dori Kanaza-dori. jpg

On the north side of the Ningyocho intersection on Ningyocho Street is a streetlight C. From the east side of the intersection, Koza-dori in Hamacho is the streetlight on the right.

amazake Yokocho Kuramaebashi-dori St. jpg

About 400 meters from Ningyocho-dori to Meijiza is amazake Yokocho. On Kuramaebashi-dori St., which passes through Chuo-ku, you can see another streetlight with a similar design.

※Next time, I will send you a "bridge streetlight". Please look forward to it!

The best time to see Japanese iris

[Sam] June 14, 2017 14:00

DSC_0475ELS.jpg

Japanese iris RSG.jpg Japanese iris is at its best, hearing about 1,000 plants at the Hanakien Garden in Hamarikyu Garden, the ruins of Yan Liao Hall, and the middle gate.

Japanese iris blooms in a moist atmosphere during the early summer and rainy season.

It is considered to be one of the classic horticultural plants that have been crossed, improved, and many varieties have been grown based on wild Nohanashobu.

In general, in addition to the Cho Igo species, which strongly retains the characteristics of ancestor, the Edo, Ise, and Higo, the flower colors are abundant in white, peach, purple, blue and yellow, and the shades and patterns are varied and varied.

Like iris sanguinea and rabbit ear iris, Japanese iris can be distinguished from rabbit ear iris with a yellow eye-shaped pattern at the base of the petals, a white eye-shaped pattern, or a iris sanguinea with a mesh pattern.
