Indian spot-billed duck's chicks, then. Walk on the Sumida River Terrace.

[The Rabbit of Tsukuda] July 6, 2017 12:00

Last month, I reported that a parent and child Indian spot-billed duck came to Ishikawajima Park. Please take a look at the following day.

It was quite rainy on this day. There are no walks or marathons on the Sumida River Terrace, and it seems that it was a great day for parents and children.

Where are you going?

Is it a sight of Chuo-ohashi Bridge?

You're walking a lot, you're thirsty!

I'm going to be able to fly between buildings~

I've walked a long time. jpg

Before that, a good hard menu! Climb the stairs! !

Don't let me go. jpg

When you grow up, you can play in that pond too.

Let's play when we grow up. jpg

Last year we couldn't see a pair of Indian spot-billed duck parents and children, but this year we were happy to see three groups of parents, five chicks, two chicks, and eight chicks in the photo, came to Ishikawajima Park and Sumida River Terrace. Unfortunately, these eight chicks will be four the next day and will not be seen afterwards. One chick of the two parents and children was bitten by the waves of ships going to and from the Sumida River in front of me, and died.

The 5 parents and children are growing up well! !

I'm playing on a recently beautifully maintained terrace under Tsukuda Kobashi near Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine.

It's quite close to my parents, so will you be alone soon?

If you see Indian spot-billed duck on the Kamejima River, Sumida River, and Harumi Canal in the future, they may have grown up. Indian spot-billed duck is present proof that nature is rich! Everyone, look forward to meeting Indian spot-billed duck!
