The 28th Chuo-ku Oedo Festival Bon Dance Festival, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of the enforcement of the central ward system, was held grandly at Hamacho Park on August 25 and 26. This festival is famous as an event unique to Chuo-ku. The sight of the children walking around amazake Yokocho, carrying the portable shrine, which was produced at a municipal elementary school in Ningyocho on the 25th. This year, I interviewed Hisamatsu Elementary School.
History - Hisamatsu Elementary School was founded in 1873 (7-2, Nihonbashi Hisamatsucho, Chuo-ku) as No. 2 Elementary School No. 1 Junior High School District No. 1 with a huge donation from feudal lord Iyomatsuyama, Count Rubber Hisamatsu. The 145th anniversary of the opening of the school in 2017, and the Hisamatsu Kindergarten (opened in 1941) on the same site will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of the park, and the ceremony will be held on October 21. It's a very historic elementary school. 1st school-Sakamoto Elementary School, 2nd school-Hisamatsu Elementary School, 4th school-Tokiwa Elementary School, 6th school-Arima Elementary School are elementary schools in Chuo-ku, which were established in the year of the 1873 academic system. It is true that four out of the 16 elementary schools have a history of 145 years, but it can be said that "Chuo-ku of Education".
Region-It is a land of Nihonbashi, which has a history and tradition, and has been a full-fledged business mainly dealing with kimono and accessories related to it. In addition, it is an area that retains the Edo culture of "Iki-Inase" represented by Hamacho and Yanagibashi. Based on the idea of "business with customers", good manners and behavior are emphasized.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding, Emperor Showa went to Her Majesty the Empress. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Crown Prince (now the Emperor of Japan) visit the Imperial Highness Princess. The 110th anniversary ceremony of the opening of the school was held by Imperial Highness Prince Tokuhito Hiromiya. Famous graduates - poet Michizo Tachihara (born July 30, 1914 (Michizo Tachihara) - died March 29, 1939 (Showa 14)). A poet in the early Showa era, at the age of 13, he compiled a collection of poems "Katsushika Shu" and "Ryokuni Kanginshu" and a collection of poems "Crystal Sure" and entered the first high science class astronomy from Tokyo Prefectural Third Junior High School (currently Tokyo Metropolitan Ryogoku High School). Posted in "Shika", and posted a story "Ahimite no later" in "Alumni Association Magazine. He published his own collection of poems, "Kokage." Compiled with a collection of four poems, "Safuran." Produced a collection of poems "Sunday" and "Walk Poetry Collection". Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo Imperial University, entered Ishimoto Architectural Office and designed "Toyota Uji Sanso". In addition to poetry, he left tanka poetry, Haiku, stories, pastel paintings, sketches, architectural drawings, etc. Many people still resonate with Dozo's gentle poetic style today, and several collections of poems from paperback books have been published. "Celebration portable shrine" production-One portable shrine and two garments (kindergarten and elementary school) were produced by nearly 30 children from 3.4 years. Parents also helped together and carefully made the final finish with their hearts. A wonderful "Celebration portable shrine" with a simple design has been completed. The commemorative photo shoot is a good face for the children, mainly in portable shrine.

From amazake Yokocho to Hamacho Park, portable shrine crosses the pedestrian crossing of Kiyosubashi-dori St. So far, the 3.4th graders will walk around with a lively shout while changing their bearers. Many police officers, PTAs, local communities, and wards support the traffic safety of children.
We crossed the pedestrian crossing on Hamacho Park Street and entered the green road in front of Hamacho Park. It's about Hamacho Athletic Field. So far, the shout of Hisamatsu Elementary School "Wasshoi" resonates vigorously. It's finally time to enter. Without losing the platoon, fans, clothes, celebration portable shrine and the platoon are beautiful.
The 117 children arrived at the portable shrinedai of Hisamatsu Elementary School in Hamacho Athletic Field, led by "Celebration portable shrine". Everyone's faces were uplifting and full of fulfillment. Until the end, it was a moment when my feelings became one. Parents who were waiting for the exercise warmly welcomed the children.
After successfully setting up the "celebration mikoshi" at the Oedo Festival venue, Hisamatsu Elementary School PTA Chairman Koichiro Murakami took the lead and clapping. It was cool. The children disbanded while exchanging smiles with the parents who came to pick them up.
18:30-Oedo Festival Opening - Woodworking, ladder riding, wearing "Edo Fire Memorial Party" and Bon Odori.
