Poster Exhibition of Yusaku Kamekura [Noevia Ginza Gallery]

Noevia Ginza Gallery is located on the first floor of Noevia Ginza Head Office Building, facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St.

Currently, a poster exhibition by Mr. Poster Yusaku Kamekura is being held here.

Kamekura is a pioneer in Japanese graphic design and a global graphic designer.

He worked on posters for the "Tokyo 1964 Olympics", "Osaka World Exposition" and "Hiroshima Appeals".

These posters are displayed in the venue, so you can see them up close.

It's a work that doesn't make you feel old.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Kamekura's sudden death from 1997, and a poster exhibition was planned.

Also, this year is said to be the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Noevia Ginza Gallery ()

The poster of Noevia in the photo above (also supervised by Mr. Kamekura) is familiar, isn't it?

The exhibition period is from Monday, September 4 to November 2 (Thursday), and exhibits will change in the first and second semesters.

The first semester is from Monday, September 4 to September 30 (Sat), and the second semester is from Monday, October 2 to November 2 (Thu).

The museum will be closed on October 1 (Sun) to replace the exhibition.

The event is open from 10 am to 6 pm. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are until 5:00 pm.

Regarding photography in the gallery, there is a problem such as copyright, and this time we received special consent only for those that are OK for photography because of the NG of the exhibits.
