Noevia Ginza Gallery is located on the first floor of the Noevia Ginza Headquarters Building, which stands facing Ginza 7-chome, Namiki-dori St.
Currently, a poster exhibition by "Mr.Poster" Yusaku Kamekura is being held here.
Kamekura is a pioneer in the graphic design world in Japan and a global graphic designer.
He worked on posters for the "Tokyo 1964 Olympics", "Osaka World Exposition", and "Hiroshima Appeals".
These posters are displayed in a row at the venue, so you can see them up close.
It's a work that doesn't make you feel old at all.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Kamekura's sudden death from 1997, and a poster exhibition was planned.
Also, this year will be the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Noevia Ginza Gallery.
The poster of Noevia in the photo above (which is also supervised by Mr. Kamekura) is also familiar.
The exhibition will be held from Monday, September 4 to November 2 (Thu), and the exhibits will be replaced in the first and second semesters.
The first semester is from Monday, September 4 to September 30 (Sat), and the second semester is from Monday, October 2 to November 2 (Thu).
The museum will be closed on October 1st (Sun) to change the exhibition.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are until 5:00 p.m.
Regarding photography in the gallery, there was a problem such as copyright, and this time only the photographing of the exhibits was NG, and only the photographing OK was given special consent.
