On the 1st and 2nd floors of the literally retro gallery "Ginza Retro Gallery MUSEE" (which has been selected as one of the Top 100 Modern Buildings in Chuo-ku) facing Showa-dori, Chie Kitazawa's solo exhibition "Inverse scenery" is being held.
The event period is from November 15 (Wednesday) to 19 (Sunday), and the time is from 11:00 to 18:00, but please note that the last Sunday is until 16:00.
Since I received the invitation letter, I have been imagining this theme of "reverse scenery"
A work that expresses "reverse attack" by "scenery"
Mr. Kitazawa also came to the venue.
He strongly sympathized with Yo Henmi's "rebeling landscape" by journalist and writer, and decided on the theme of this exhibition, "Reverse scenery."
When I asked Mr. Kitazawa, this was the first time that a solo exhibition was held in Chuo-ku, and over the past year, he had produced such a group of works according to the theme of this exhibition.

Mr. Kitazawa has a poem (partial excerpt) entitled "Reverse Scenery" in the guide letter of the exhibition.
At first glance, a work that looks different from each other looks like a series of works with something heavy () when
viewed through the filter called "reverse scenery".
With my poor expressiveness, I can't express my work with Mr. Kitazawa's powerful message.
Please face Mr. Kitazawa's work with your own eyes.
I felt that the atmosphere of this gallery, one of the best Historic buildings in Chuo-ku, and the strength of the work created a solid and calm harmony.
It's a comfortable space.
