From New Year to New Year! Nihonbashi "Kofunemachi"

[Daruma] 09:00 on December 31, 2017

When you cross Showa-dori from Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store to the Horidome intersection ... Nihonbashi "Kofunemachi" envelops history in newness. It is said that from the Edo period to the Meiji period, it was a town where there were storehouses along the Higashibori Toru River, which entered the Nihonbashi River, textile wholesalers, fan wholesalers, and bonito wholesalers. As an aside, the Asakusa Hozo-mon Gate is dedicated to Japanese lantern Dai Japanese lantern from Kofune Town....It is now Kofunemachi, where new buildings of long-established companies and leading companies are lined up. Restaurants and hotels were also available, and it was clean. The main street has been unnamed for a long time, but it is under consideration for naming. On the left and right of this street, [Ogura Building] and [Nase Sangyo Building], which have been rebuilt into a solid building, stands out.

Decoration for the New Year! It is a long-established appearance in Kofune-cho.

[Ibasen] It is a fan, fan shop with a history of more than 400 years. The interior of the store is rich in products with Ukiyo patterns. I bought a cute fan with a dog pattern.

[Takashima family] It is an eel specialty store founded in 1875. I was impressed by the taste that has been protecting for more than 140 years and the hospitality of the young lady.

In September 2018, the festival will be held once every four years.

Kofunemachi Yakumo Shrine is one of the auxiliary shrines located in the precincts of Kanda Myojin.

Kofune-cho began to carry out festivals in the early Edo period.

During the festival, Kariya will be built in Horidome Children's Park and portable shrine will be imperial procession.

I think it was before the war, a photo of carrying of miniature shrines (a sunny figure of his deceased father?) That's right.⇒⇒⇒⇒

The Tenno Festival is a rough portable shrine festival by the common people, and it is said that only Kofune Town currently inherits the festival.
