TOKYO ILLUMILIA 2017-2018

[Sam] December 2, 2017 14:00

DSC01452ELSB'.jpgDSC01458'RSG.jpg On November 29, the annual year-end illumination "TOKYO ILLUMILIA 2017-2018" lights up on Nihonbashi Sakura-dori St.

Date: From November 29 to February 14, 2018 16:30 to 23:00

At Yaesu Sakura-dori St., we mainly use champagne gold LED bulbs to illuminate cherry trees, and at Yaesu Nakadori, symbol illumination of Edo Kiriko.

At the plaza in front of the Yaesu Center Building, the floats from the Yaesu-Nihonbashi area at the time are excerpted from the "Emaki Sanno Festival Map". This picture scroll, which is also a valuable folklore material, depicts Edokko's "festival lovers" that is the same as modern times.

"TOKYO ILLUMILIA 2017-2018" combines traditional Japanese culture and illuminations to create a gorgeous city.
