On Saturday, January 20, after having enjoyed walking around the city of Ginza with eight alumni at elementary school, a boy who is familiar with rakugo (the first alumni reunion in 40 years was triggered by alumni gathering in Kanto, boys and girls forever. I went to a rakugo party at Yabu Izu Sohonten near Showa-dori in Nihonbashi. For me, it's like a first-year story. What kind of stories can you hear?
Expectations are even more inspiring by the massive restaurant-like gate that suddenly appeared in the office district of Nihonbashi.
We were greeted by a charming lady who spoke, and we went to the parlor on the third floor.
I listened to the rakugo of Shunfutei Ichiza and Asanosuke. The appearance of the common people and lords of Edo living humorously and robustly is depicted in the way of talking. Especially for golden mochi, Imagawa Bridge, Honishi-cho, Nihonbashi, Kyobashi, Owaricho, Izumo-cho, Shimbashi, and the main street names of Edo, which cannot be excluded from the city guide of Chuo-ku, came out one after another.
After two hours passed quickly, Ichiza and Asanosuke went around the table while having soba, laughing at any question and answering.
Mr. Ichizasa and Mr. Asnosuke
When I was talking with you two, it was time to come back and support me.

According to the origin of the store, Yabu Izu Sohonten was a soba shop that flourished in Kyobashi under the name of "Izumoto" in the Tenpo era of Edo (1830-1843). In the Meiji era, the long-established store "Yabu" and Japanese shop curtain included it became "Yabu Izu", and it became a direct branch of "Yabu" (currently only Hamacho, Asakusa Namiki, Takanawa and these four stores). Even if I don't know much about rakugo, my face was seen in a commercial when I was little, and the fifth generation teacher Kosan Yanagiya had a rakugokai at a Kyobashi shop, and even now I moved to Nihonbashi. It seems that grandson Hana Midori and young rakugo artists are holding rakugokai.
The shops have responded lightly, and the number of information shops that you can't miss in Nihonbashi has increased. By all means, please go out too.
In the words of the landlady, "Please enjoy soba and rakugo from Edo together."
