Why don't you take pictures around Nihonbashi on a snowy day?

[Shiba Inu] January 29, 2018 14:00

From the evening of January 22 to midnight, it was the first heavy snowfall in four years in Tokyo. On the 23rd of the following day, the snow makeup around Nihonbashi ended in a few hours, but on the day, many people were walking around with cameras in search of the city center where snow was falling at night.

So, I would like to introduce some safe photo spots that are recommended in such weather! In search of a place like Hasui Kawase's paintings.

First of all, it is around Yanagibashi at the northern end of Chuo-ku. Yanagibashi was a bustling place as a flower town until before the war, and still has an elegant impression and a boarding house.

It is often used as a location for dramas.

Next is Yagenbori Fudoson.

This is lit at night, so you can enjoy fantastic light along with the surrounding scenery.

And it's around Higashi Nihonbashi Station.

Even in front of the subway station in the city center, the lively feeling of life unique to the wholesale district is wonderful.

Of course, the Sumida River seen from Ryogoku Bridge is also full of mood. The ship passes through the snow on a regular basis.

Move to the center of Nihonbashi.

The center is quickly removed from snow to ensure safety. Even if you aim around the Mitsui Main Building, you can't get a sense of snow, so go back street.

The Bank of Japan had a beautiful snow left. No matter what angle you take, it's full of exotic atmosphere.

And this is the popular Fukutoku Inari Shrine.

Even in the early morning of the snow, worshiper never ceased.

This area is a spot where you can get interesting pictures safely even in bad weather. Nihonbashi has many ruins of digging, so there are many narrow and tasty back streets. There is a lot of snow left in such places and there is an atmosphere, but I don't recommend going alone on bad weather days....。

It's fun to walk to see the elaborate snowmans that each shop offers!

I came to Nihonbashi for sightseeing, but it snowed....I think there are some people who are disappointing, but it is wonderful that the scenery where the Edo atmosphere and the cutting edge of Tokyo are parallel with snow, so please come and see it.
