Times Car PLUS Mobi:mo ~ Ultra Small Product Experience ~

[Tokyo Dumbo] January 15, 2018 14:00

Ha: Do you know mo?

Toyota is committed to creating a next-generation transportation system that optimally connects personal vehicles and public transportation, and supports seamless and comfortable transportation and solving local traffic issues.

You can easily register for use from your smartphone, get on right when you want to ride, ride as much as you need, pay for that amount, and pay for parking lots and fuel.

Currently, demonstration experiments are being conducted in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Tokyo, Okinawa, Okayama City, and Bangkok, Thailand. In Tokyo, in collaboration with Times Car PLUS, Chiyoda-ku, Chuo-ku, Minato-ku, Bunkyo-ku, Taito-ku, Sumida-ku, Koto-ku, and Edogawa-ku are located in about 100 stations.

Like the usual Times Car PLUS, it costs 206 yen in 15 minutes, but the biggest difference is that it is possible to drop off at other stations.

Chuo-ku has 18 stations, second to 32 locations in Koto-ku.

Tokyo Dumbo is located at Kyobashi 1-chome to Shintomi 2-chome station.

Ginza → I've been driving through the Imperial Palace.

Open a zipper into a single-seater EV vehicle called COMS at a dedicated station and board it.

Hold your smartphone over the right side of the seat to start the announcement and start using it.

Although it is a very small vehicle, the speed rises smoothly to 60 km / h, and there is no problem with driving in urban areas. Please note that you will not be able to enter the highway.

In addition, there is a trunk in the rear, and it seems that it can be fitted with a small carry bag.

I think there are still some improvements, but I would like you to continue the demonstration experiment as a new foot for business and tourism in Tokyo.
