Azusa Shibata's first solo exhibition "Azusa Shibata - Nonokami -" is being held at the gallery "REIJINSHA GALLERY" on the first basement floor of the Mitsuwa Building in Ginza 6-chome.
The first floor of the Mitsuwa Building is "Miwa of Jewelry".
The event will be held from Friday, April 13 to April 27 (Fri).
Please note that the time is from 12:00 to 19:00, but the last day is until 17:00.
We're closed on Sunday and Monday.
It seems that Azusa Shibata's consistent theme has been "wolf" since his college days.
The work is painted with dried water paint and rock paint on Japanese paper, and foil is also used.
If you look up close, the wolf's hair is drawn in detail, the foil is effectively used, and it is a work that makes you feel divine.
When I saw a white and divine wolf, I remembered "Moro no Kimi (a large white hundreds of years old dog god with two tails)" that appeared in the feature-length animated movie "Princess Mononoke" directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
I remembered the voice of Mr. Akihiro Miwa, the role of Moro's role.
I had a relaxing time in a quiet and calm gallery that I couldn't imagine just entering one from the main street of Ginza.
Thank you for your understanding of the photography in the gallery.
