Ryujin Shrine is one of the precincts of Sumiyoshi Tsukuda-jinja Shirine and enshrines Ryuhime Oga, the god of water. Later in the year, he enshrined Daibenzaiten at Nihonbashi Shirakiya, and today it is called "Ryuo Benzaiten" and is revered as a god with the virtue of good luck, rising fortune, thriving business, achievement of academic achievement, improvement of various arts, and healing of illness.
Every year from the end of March to the beginning of April, the Reisai Festival is held on Sunday near the day of the Snake, which coincides with the cherry blossoms blooming on the grounds, so the Sakura Festival is held at the same time, and amazake soup flour is served on the grounds. This year, the Sakura Festival is held on April 7th and 8th.
On the 7th, at 11:30, the Sanken Taiko of Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Co., Ltd. was performed, and the sound of a powerful Japanese drum echoed throughout the precincts. On the 8th, the festival ceremony will be performed from 11:00 and the Tsukuda Junior High School Taiko Club will be performed from 13:30.
