Hamacho-Ningyocho Cherry Blossom Viewing Famous Places

[wienerhorn] April 6, 2018 16:00

Yoshino cherry tree in the ward has already been scattered ...
In the area between Hamacho and Ningyocho, there is a place where you can enjoy small but beautiful cherry blossoms.

Hamacho Park is the oldest and largest park in Chuo Ward. It was built as a reconstruction project after the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. Not only those who lay sheets and watch the cherry blossoms in earnest, but also many people sit on chairs and eat lunch. It is located right above Hamacho Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line.

The Hamacho Green Road is a green road that was once reclaimed by the artificial waterway `` Hamacho River '' that used to connect the Kanda River and the Sumida River, and is like a large median strip. I am. The landfill was completed in 1972, so it can be said that it is a relatively new place for cherry blossoms. There is a fierce battle for cherry blossom viewing (laughs), and there are many groups that make reservations for dates and times around the place with tape.

"Ichiyo" at the intersection of amazake Yokocho and Daimon Street in Ningyocho is a horticultural variety of Satozakura and is a beautiful double flower (not "Ginkgo").

When the cherry blossoms fall, the season of fresh green is coming.
