Tokyo Minato matsuri

[wienerhorn] May 28, 2018 09:00

I went to "Tokyo Minato matsuri" held from May 26 (Sat) to 27 (Sun) at Harumi Passenger Ship Terminal and Wharf. Tokyo Port opened as an international trading port on May 20, 1941, and is held every year on Saturdays and Sundays around May 20, 1941.

In addition to booth displays in the terminal and events on stage, rare ships are open to the public.

I can't usually get on by ordinary people

Kaitaka Maru, a training boat operated by Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology
Japan Coast Guard Surveying Ship "Ocean"
The dredge ship "Umiryu" of the Port and Harbor Bureau of Tokyo
The Marine Self Defense Force's escort ship "Hakaze"

I was able to experience it. There was a line at the entrance.
Some ships open a high-temperature engine room, and those who are in charge of staying at the site during the hot weather and responding to the participants will fall down.

Tokyo Minato matsuri has also been involved in the Chuo-ku Tourism Test, so it is recommended that those who wish to take the test visit once.
