Namishi Inari Shrine Funato Go 20180608

[Silver] June 13, 2018 14:00

Funa imperial procession, a grand event of the Tsukiji Lion Festival, a summer tradition at Namishi Inari Shrine, was revived for the first time in about 100 years.

I ran from Hibiya to Ginza and Hamarikyu, and encountered portable shrine, which was carried to resting place of portable shrines, which was installed at the Masugatamon gate in Hamarikyu Garden.

I heard that the ship imperial procession would arrive around 18 o'clock, so after worshiping the shrine's main hall, he rushed to Kachidokibashi Nishizume via the Central Market.

At the side of Kachidokibashi, Shinto rituals were being performed.

Soon, portable shrine, who was placed on the ship, went away,

Heading to Hamarikyu via Tsukiji Ohashi, I spent the night of the 8th at "resting place of portable shrines" in the Masugata gate of Hamarikyu Garden.
