rose of sharon is already in bloom [around Irifune Bridge]

Hot days like midsummer continue, but it is rose of sharon that is blooming well.

There are many rose of sharon trees in the planting space around Irifune Bridge, and during this season, white background red in the middle and dark pink flowers bloom.

The red on a white background is "Hinomaru" and the dark pink color is "Tottori Hanagasa".

Also, sometimes the pure white thing you see is "Daitokuji Temple White".

Indeed, it is a typical flowering tree that colors the midsummer, but it is native to China and is also known as the national flower of Korea.
