fireworks festival is a new summer tradition in the area that replaces the Tokyo Bay Fireworks Festival.

Under the theme of "Edo Mode," a new large fireworks festival that encompasses traditional Edo culture and state-of-the-art Tokyo--the-art entertainment, arts, music, food and technology--and one of Japan's leading pyrotechnicians launched approximately 12,000 fireworks.

Fireworks designed and prommed by children, and on a special stage on the rooftop of Aqua City, Ebizo Ichikawa performed Goemon Ishikawa's new Kabuki dance "Tamaya Kiyochichi" which became Edo's representative pyrotechnician.

From Harumi Ohashi, over the Toyosu Ohashi and the illuminated Rainbow Bridge, vivid large flowers coloring the night sky with loud sound spread, and light shows were developed one after another.
