[Sumida River Fireworks Festival] How can I see it from a secret place in Chuo-ku?

[Hanes] August 2, 2018 18:00

Hello. This is a new correspondent, Hanes.
This is the last Sumida River Fireworks Festival in Heisei held on the 29th. Did you see it?

Previously, in this article, I introduced the Sumida River Terrace from Hamacho Park to Ryogokubashi as a secret spot.
Hamacho Park, located in Chuo-ku, is a little far from the first venue and the second venue.
Don't you worry about how much you can see from that area and how crowded it is?
For those who are considering "Let's see fireworks around Hamacho Park next year?"
I would be glad if this article was helpful.

■How you see it
The most worrisome thing is whether you can see fireworks!
It is blocked by high-rise buildings and capital heights, and "only sound can be heard."..."Is that something unique to Tokyo?
Unfortunately, you can hardly see any fireworks from promenade near Hamacho Park.
If you walk for a few minutes toward Ryogoku Bridge, there is a small spot where you can see the entire fireworks even though it is small.
(Fireworks are set up at the place indicated by the red arrow.)

Even though it is small, you can hear the sound and enjoy it more than you think!
Try to take some pictures with telephoto....It doesn't seem to be a problem to enjoy the summer atmosphere.

■Congestion and safety aspects
It has been established as a secret spot, and many people gather in a position where you can see it well.
However, it is not crowded near the venue, it is relatively easy to move and easy to see.
In addition, there is a guide, calling for securing a conductor and prohibiting the passage of bicycles.
I think it's a very good spot in terms of safety.

■Points to note
The only thing I want to keep in mind is that it is a stand-up spot.
It is not suitable for those who want to take a place, sit down and watch fireworks, so be careful.

People watching fireworks from around here have heard several voices saying, "It's enough to see this much."
Especially for those who want to enjoy fireworks in relatively vacant places, regardless of the location.
I think it's a recommended spot.
