[Silver] August 9, 2018 12:00

The 30th anniversary of the Emperor's enthronement, and the 2017 commemorative Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine Reisai Festival was held from August 3 to August 6. I went out on August 6th (Monday).

portable shrine was carried by young people on Tsukishima Nishinaka-dori. There was water for economic growth and measures against heat stroke.

The floats (dashi), smiling, and drum music by local children had a peaceful atmosphere.

Regarding the history of Tsukuda, fishermen in Tsukuda-mura (Osaka) in Nishinari-gun, Settsu-kuni, provided various conveniences for Ieyasu at the Osaka camp, such as when Ieyasu Tokugawa visited Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine. . Ieyasu, who felt a benefactor for this, took the world and brought 36 fishermen to Edo and allowed them to live with permission to catch seafood. At first they lived on a fish shore near Nihonbashi, but later they were given a shore near the mouth of the Sumida River, so they created and moved here, took the name of their country of origin, and named this island "Tsukuda Island". (The construction year of Tsukuda Island is `` According to Chuo-ku Monoshiri Encyclopedia, 1644, 1644 AD)-Omitted ~ And when their island is completed, Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine, who was the guardian angel of the sea, recommended the island of Sumiyoshi-jinja Shirine. (The current place name does not have an island, but it is displayed as Tsukuda number chome.)

This large flag is one of the things I'd like to see for a long time because it is depicted in Hiroshige's 100 famous views of Edo, summer scenery, and "Tsukuda Shima Sumiyoshi Festival".

The flag was fluttering from the copper torii gate to the red torii gate, which was rebuilt, and the atmosphere was transmitted.

As for the explanation of the lion head of the dragon tiger, the explanation of the cultural property of the central inhabitant of a ward is very helpful.
