Sony Aquarium 2018

[Sam] August 27, 2018 09:00

DSC07107ELS'.jpgDSC07092RS'G.jpg As a summer tradition of Ginza, "Sony Aquarium" attracts many people every year. This year, the stage will be moved to the new facility "Ginza Sony Park", which will open for a limited time until 2022, and the annual large aquarium with a width of 5m will appear on August 25 (~ September 9).

Under the theme of "Napoleon Fish and the Sea of coral reef," 1,000 creatures of about 25 species swim around, including a 1.2-meter-long eyeglass fish known as Napoleon Fish, and a 1.5-meter-long fake Goishi Utsubo.

At Sony Showroom / Sony Store Ginza (in GINZA PLACE), two aquariums are also exhibited.

During the feeding time twice a day (10:30, 17:00), living creatures can be fed, and at 10:30, 17:00, and 19:00 on weekends, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium staff provides aquarium commentary (about 15 minutes each time).
