Hamaguchi seems to have been active mainly in illustrations after majoring in Japanese painting at university.

When you enter the venue, the first thing that surprises me is a detailed picture of ramen () and a collage of the nude photo surrounding it under the "Osutra (Kannon Sutra)" is written tightly. These are lined up in a series of 10 pieces.

The combination of overwhelming descriptive power, strength, and unrelated (expected) subject matter stirs various delusions.

This kind of introduction is posted on our gallery website.

"How much can you spend your life on" stupid pictures "or" stupid pictures "? Is a consistent theme as a writer, and a major feature of Hamaguchi's work is that the gap between drawn characters and motifs, Chiguhagusa, is sublimated into the work using his own technology. ]

You can also feel the skills and power of the author from the collection of animal record jackets.

In addition, the feeling of "Showa" felt from the whole venue is nostalgic and seems to invite nostalgia, and it is comfortable.

Indeed, please experience the "exhibition that understands meaningless meaning" by all means.

Godzilla's masterpiece, the culmination of signboard paintings on display, seems to be Hamaguchi's graduation work.

In addition, this time, we received your consent for photography in the gallery, and explained the works on display this time.

Thank you very much
