Hamarikyu Garden "Tokyo 150 Years Festival"

DSC07455ELS'.jpgDSC07464RS'G'.jpg On October 26-28, the Tokyo 150th Anniversary Festival, an event to experience the charm of Tokyo, "Tradition and Innovation," is being held at Hamarikyu Gardens.

This is the main event of the "Old meets New Tokyo 150 Years" project to commemorate that 2018 was the 150th anniversary of the change from Edo to Tokyo and the opening of Tokyo Prefecture.

In addition to the main program's novel production mapping show "Space and Time Travel with Engravings-Hatsune Miku Links Tokyo 150-", digital Bon Odori, virtual walks of sightseeing spots in Tokyo, panel displays reflecting on the 150 years of Tokyo, and traditional techniques that color Tokyo.

At the booth next to the lit-up photo spot "300 Years of Pine", you can enjoy a retro photo "Digital Face Shame" as if you were back in time to Meiji period.
