The "Wa Eco Living Exhibition" is being held at the Chuo Ward Environmental Information Center in Kyobashi Environmental Station on the 6th floor of Tokyo Square Garden, an eco-friendly building at Kyobashi 3-chome.
At the venue, they explain in an easy-to-understand manner how eco-friendly the traditional Japanese lifestyle of "Japanese living" was.
In addition, furoshiki and Japanese paper are introduced as a typical example of "Japanese eco-living".
At the venue, you can touch the raw materials of Japanese paper, experience the feeling of writing, and experience how to wrap furoshiki.
The period is from Monday, October 1 to October 31 (Wed).
The time is from 9:00 to 21:00, so even those who work can stop by on their way home.
By the way, October is said to be the 3R promotion month set by the country.
The 3R is an acronym for Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. 3R activities are to reduce garbage as much as possible by working on these three Rs, thereby reducing garbage. The aim is to minimize the adverse effects of incineration and landfill disposal on the environment, and to create a society (= recycling-oriented society) that effectively and repeatedly uses limited earth resources.
This time, we also received your consent for taking photos in the venue and introducing them in this blog post.
Thank you very much
