November 18th is "Civil Engineering Day". The origin is that if you write in the order of "118", it will be "civil engineering".
On that day, I went to the "Civil Engineering Four People Exhibition" held at FM Exhibition Salon Ginza (6-4-7 Ginza). Yoshikazu Nishiyama, Takuya Omura, Hiroki Tokugawa, and Kazuya Iimuro are exhibiting photographs on the theme of civil engineering structures taken from their respective perspectives.
Mr. Omura's work was based on the theme of "Tokyo Construction Dance", and the landscape under construction of civil engineering structures, including heavy equipment and people. According to the story, it was not taken into the construction site and photographed, but from a place where the general public can see it. The scenery under construction that can only be seen "now" was very valuable, and it was a group of works with a very nice way of capturing light. It seems that he also devised the selection of paper to print.
I'm glad that there is a place where you can enjoy the infrastructure that supports our lives and industry as a work of art like this time.
