Kyobunkan Building and CAFE'Kyobunkan

[Silver] Nov. 18, 2018 14:00

When I visited the "Joy of Life of Light and Shadow of Painter Seiji Fujishiro", I received a leaflet for information on "CAFE'Kyobunkan".

The explanation of the construction of the Kyobunkan Building is described as follows.

"This Kyobunkan building is a retro building that was built in 1933. You can see the remnants of the architectural style of the time on the beams that became thick in triangles near the pillar. The café was designed with a plasterer technique called "polishing" on the white plaster wall while retaining its old appearance, and was designed with the wish of a relaxing place where two eras can meet lightly across space and space. "Soil" from all over Japan was used for "polishing". I hope you can slowly enjoy the natural colors of the soil collected from Okinawa, Niigata, Aichi and Awaji with coffee. ] It's a good idea.

Invited by the warm Koharu weather, I took a closer look at the building of Kyobunkan and went out to drink coffee.

This is a set of Japanese bunkan blend and cake.

We enjoyed the view of Ginza Chuo-dori from the counter seat on the window. I had a good time relaxing.
