Rose fruit, rose hip color [Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park]

Rose hips of roses planted in Tsukiji River Shukubashi Park (1-11-13 Tsukiji) are growing red and yellow again this year.

While rose hips are formed, some roses in remontant flowering are still blooming, and it is exactly the season of autumn roses.

Rose hip is a fruit of plant belonging to the family Rosaceae.

As there are many types of roses, the shape of rose hips varies from spherical shape, spindle shape, tears shape, and colors vary from red, yellow, orange, dark purple.

Rose hips are rich in vitamin C and are also used as herb tea.
